WE SUPPORT LOCAL AGRICULTURE
and FAIR TRADE global farmers neighbors!
Our vegetables come from small farms that grow organically or use IPM methods from New Jersey. We are members of the Bloomfield-Montclair CSA which supports John Krueger of Starbrite Farm and Ginger and family of Treelicious Orchards. South Jersey farm produce is delivered to us by our good friend Mikey Azzara and Zone 7, his distribution company. We also get veggies, grass fed, organic milk, cheese and butter from a cooperative of Lancaster farmers. We try very hard to offer a seasonal menu but there are definitely some things that don't grow around here...so bananas, sugar, coffee, tea, chocolate, spices - if it's available fair trade and organic, we source it...
